Jan. 26, 2026

The Stony Plain Eagles wrapped up the 2025-26 NCHL regular season with a convincing 8-2 victory over the Wetaskiwin Longhorns on Saturday night at the Glenn Hall Arena.

A five-goal outburst capped off an offensive night for the Eagles, who were led by Kruise Reddick's three points (1G, 2A). Ryan Benn (2G), Blake Grainger (1G, 1A), Kye Buchanan (1G, 1A), Zane Avery (2A), Burke Gallimore (2A) and Alex Marrocco (2A) each added two points.

Wyatt Hoflin was spectacular in net for the Eagles, turning away 40 Longhorn shots, including three breakaways.

The Eagles will now wait for the remaining teams to finish their regular seasons this week to determine where they will finish and who they will face in the first round of the playoffs.

Stay tuned for more details and we hope to see the Glenn Hall Arena jam packed for a great 2026 playoff run!
