EAGLES FALL TO INNISFAIL

The Stony Plain Eagles travelled to Innisfail for a match up with their rivals, the Innisfail Eagles on Sunday

Despite outshooting their opponent 40-30, the Eagles couldn't find the back of the net, dropping a 1-0 decision as Innisfail goaltender Chance Griffith stopped all 40 shots he faced.

The Eagles had a 5 on 3 man advantage in the third period, but were unable to convert on the powerplay.

The last regular season game goes this Saturday as the Eagles host the Wetaskiwin Longhorns at the Glenn Hall Arena. Game time is 7:45pm.
