EAGLES START 2025-26 SEASON WITH ROAD WIN IN DEVON

The Stony Plain Eagles kicked off the 2025-26 NCHL season with a convincing 6-3 win over the Devon Barons on Saturday night at the Dale Fisher Arena in Devon, AB.

Kruise Reddick (1-1-2), Wil Tomchuk (1-1-2) and Nick Leyer (0-2-2) led a balanced offensive attack as the Eagles consistently attacked Barons goaltender Mike Gudmandson throughout the game.

Wyatt Hoflin was solid between the pipes for the Eagles, turning away 25 of 28 Barons shots, recording his first win of the season.

The Eagles next game is Saturday, October 18th when they host the Innisfail Eagles for their 2025-26 home opener at the Glenn Hall Arena in Stony Plain. Game time is 7:45pm.
